Who we are
Wahlscheidt has been a forwarding agent for local transport within NRW since 1972. The focus is on complete loads in the sectors of food, non-food and beverage deliveries. Major German discounters, beverage markets and single commodity dealers are all customers of the family-managed forwarding agent.
Wahlscheidt Trucktrans has its company headquarters in Langenfeld – that is, right between the Rhine metropolises of Cologne and Düsseldorf. That is also where the forwarding agent’s own workshop is located, which always keeps the vehicle fleet in top condition. A specialty of Wahlscheidt Trucktrans is its own 24-hour Service Team. Should a truck really break down – the Service-Team is available around the clock. Between the deliveries, the trucks themselves stay at the customer’s location.
Wahlscheidt Trucktrans is constantly looking to enhance its driver team. In the course of this, the forwarding agent also offers beginners and career changers the opportunity to work as a professional truck driver. The prerequisite for this is the CE driver’s licence. We offer new drivers, who have just acquired this licence, an integration measure. This way they have the opportunity to gather experience behind the truck steering wheel.
